CADPower

Place Points/Blocks along Vertices: CP_PL_PLACE – CADPower Command

Summary

The CP_PL_PLACE command in CADPower allows you to place a point or a block at each vertex of a polyline or line, making it highly useful for mapping, utility applications and precise vertex marking.

CADPower-> Polyline-> Vertex Management-> Place Points/Blocks along vertices

You can choose what to place:

CP_PL_PLACE
  • Points: Places points at the vertices of the polyline or line on a specified layer.
  • Blocks: Inserts a block at the vertices, with options to specify the block name, scale factor, and rotation angle for customization.

You can also control where the points or blocks are placed by selecting from options like All Vertices, First Vertex Only, Last Vertex Only, or First and Last Vertices Only, giving you flexibility in how and where the placements occur. This tool is especially handy for adding markers or objects along polylines for mapping, infrastructure, or design tasks.
