After testing GeoTools-CADPower running alongside MorphCAD, we noticed a conflict, and it was showing up an error upon startup on the same BricsCAD profile.
To resolve the conflict, the only option at the moment is to have GeoTools-CADPower run on different BricsCAD profiles.
You need to have two different launch icons for this purpose. And you need to configure GT and CP manually. To do a manual configuration of GeoTools and CADPower, you must not install the .EXE downloaded version as this automatically enables demand loading which disturbs the MorphCAD profile also.
We have created dedicated ZIP files for your download, which must be used by you every time in order to avoid this conflict.
The same procedure must be adopted at any client computer also.
The ZIP file download links are shown below:
- (
V25) GeoTools (English) for BricsCAD-ZIP version: https://www.thedesignsense.com/geotools/GeoTools25_BricsCAD.zip - (
V25) CADPower (English) for BricsCAD-ZIP version: https://www.thedesignsense.com/cadpower/CADPower25_BricsCAD.zip
- (
V25) GeoTools (English) for AutoCAD-ZIP version: https://www.thedesignsense.com/geotools/GeoTools25_AutoCAD.zip - (
V25) CADPower (English) for AutoCAD-ZIP version: https://www.thedesignsense.com/cadpower/CADPower25_AutoCAD.zip
The contents of the ZIP file must be extracted to any folder of your choice, and the BricsCAD Support file search path (via SETTINGS command) must be made to point to this folder.
GeoTools and CADPower use the file on_doc_load.lsp to initialize and start the program. if you are using other third-party addons, which have their own on_doc_load.lsp, they must be merged into one on_doc_load.lsp so that all of them can coexist and load together.
Going forward, I will try and find a solution to this issue -or- find the real cause.
