AEC Magazine and Ralph Grabowksi Write About Revit Users Angst against Anagnost’s Autodesk

In what may perhaps be the most blunt and direct criticism aimed at the top guns of Autodesk, a clutch of leading global architectural firms have shot off a missive to the Autodesk CEO, Mr. Andrew Anagnost, detailing their frustration in using Revit software over the past many years.

Equally strong in tone and tenor of the letter (and the AECMAG article) is the criticism of its infamous legal-compliance division that unleashes vilifying campaigns against what they unilaterally brand as wilful piracy by its legal customers of long-standing repute.

In short, the grim reality is that Autodesk wants $$$ from you today, again, and by force, even if you have been their loyal customers in the past.

The letter and its potential ramifications have been covered today by AEC Magazine and in Ralph Grabowksi’s newsletter today. This is a wake-up call for Autodesk and its customers alike.

Thankfully, there is a REAL CHOICE alternative today: BricsCAD. Among the half-a-dozen (or more) AutoCAD wannabes, only a few have come within striking distance of achieving a semblance of compatibility and usability.

And BricsCAD leads the pack, with not just compatibility and price, but also in having innovative new features defined by a clear direction and velocity of development.

To know more about BricsCAD, and about the network licensing change that the A-company is bringing about, sign up for our webinar happening at convenient times over the next week.
