V 22.23 Update - CADPower
The V22.23 update of CADPower includes three new FADE controls for XREFs, locked layers and in-place editing of blocks.

First-time BricsCAD users often find it daunting to locate the settings for fade control. Many of them would not even know that these are called FADE control. I am talking about settings that enable you to change the intensity or look of entities that are not in our immediate focus.
FADE control behavior determines how much the lesser-relevant part of your drawing should be faded while you are working on the more relevant or active part of the data.
For example, while you lock layers, you can determine how they should be faded (or greyed) out. This is controlled by the LAYLOCKFADECTL system variable,
When you are doing in-place editing of blocks, you must have the rest of the entities in the drawing to be faded. This is controlled by the XFADECTL system variable.
And, finally, when you have attached XREFs, you might want them to be shown with a different hue as well. This is controlled by the XDWGFADECTL system variable.
The CP_DWGSET command in the BricsCAD+ menu of CADPower FREEWARE section makes this easy to access, set or change the values.
These values are in percentages.
