Joint Presentation by DesignSense and RAP Technologies on BricsCAD+GeoTools+CADPower
Bengaluru, India
Bricsys India, represented by DesignSense Software along with our Tamil Nadu reseller, RAP Technologies made a joint presentation to one of India’s largest public sector organizations, Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited, with interest in coal (lignite) mining & power generation.
A big challenge faced by many organizations these days is the ability to deliver quick and easily deployable software solutions to rapidly changing business requirements.
More number of people in organizations today need domain specific business functions on their laptops or devices. It is the era of packaged ready-to-eat-foods and software is no exception.
If we are able to easily plug and play, mix and match software modules and assemble it together for achieving the end-goal, we are a winner.
And we need this easily deployed on large number of computers at affordable price points. Delivering this flexibility and choice is the BricsCAD platform, powered further by CADPower & GeoTools.
As two strong software solutions providers, also doubling up as software resellers made the solutions pitch to NLC, the interest generated was keen.
With audience from the civil & mechanical engineering departments in attendance, it was a good afternoon presentation delivered.
With focused mining & geology tools in our GeoTools module, this is a new opportunity for the next presentation, exclusively to the mining users, and we are up there against some of the biggest names in mining software.
Lean is the name of the game – deliver just-enough tools that you can get your work done with. Shed those excess baggages, use focused software for your requirements, making is accessible to more people.
A monolithic organization until now, NLC is now looking at changing gears and moving into the high traction area, with a push from the top to deliver profit and embrace new technologies and skills.
The rapidly ageing first generation of CAD and domain professionals (with old technology skills) is being replenished with quality younger generation successors – open to change and to new ways of delivery.
