EUR 199 – GeoTools + CADPower, 1-year, 1-user subscription license
Changes in perpetual license policy since June 15, 2025
There is a significant change in the perpetual license policy of GeoTools and CADPower from June 15, 2025.
The price is now set as EUR 499 for a perpetual license of GeoTools or CADPower and this includes 1-year of Maintenance. This means that your purchase of GeoTools or CADPower now entitles you to get the next update at no additional cost when it releases in October each year.
Earlier, the price of GeoTools was EUR 280 and that of CADPower was EUR 265. This did not include Maintenance. The current price structure now includes 1-year of Maintenance at a price of EUR 499 and is a great value for money. If you include the EUR 159 that you would have earlier paid for an upgrade, the price now is only marginally higher than before, when you look at a 2-year budgeting for owning GeoTools and CADPower.
Existing paid users of perpetual licenses of GeoTools and CADPower can continue to use their perpetual licenses. Users who have purchased GeoTools or CADPower prior to June 15, 2025 will need to purchase an upgrade if they want to move to the next version. This upgrade entitles them to a 1-year Maintenance contract, which means they will also enjoy the benefits of a complementary upgrade to the next version as soon as they upgrade from an older version of GeoTools or CADPower to the current version.
For users who do not wish to upgrade, and want to stay wit an older version of GeoTools or CADPower, we will continue to support them with license file replacements until they are within two versions behind the current version. This is approximately a 2-year support for license file replacement and computer-change requests from the last date of purchase.
Maintenance renewal after the first year
The price for the Maintenance renewal at the end of first year is set as EUR 199 each for both GeoTools and CADPower.
The price for the rental license changes a bit!
The price of a rental license has been revised from EUR 149 to EUR 199 per year. This is in line with the general pricing matrix of rental licenses, and reflect the value that our products ring to the CAD user.
