The Man Who Brought in BricsCAD – Ted Rossdale
Bengaluru, India
We have been amused and floored by some new, cool and innovative drama unfolding at the Bricsys HQ recently.
And I am sure this is going to be a nice diversion for you guys too as you want to step aside a bit, enjoy and admire the BricsCAD story and get up close and personal with the smart and creative guys who have made BricsCAD what it is today.
Let me introduce to you Ted Rossdale, a fictional character invented by the Bricsys think tank (the creative ones), who wanted the DNA of its employees to be represented by a quintessential mascot that is central to the Bricsys human capital ethos.
And that is how Ted Rossdale was born, or created!
So, in simple words, who is Ted Rossdale? He is the typical Bricsys employee, the heroes who have brought in all the new generation stuff like AI techniques, BIM-in-a-3D-modeler engine, QUAD, Blockify et al, all that makes BricsCAD stand apart from the crowd.
Ted Rossdale is defined as the guy who documents CAD heroes, dramatically and with a velocity and direction that is breath-taking.
In a recent brand building event shot at the Bricsys HQ, the company got a set of professional actors, ably supported by the real Ted Rossdales in the company (read employees), who acted alongside the professional actors and created this short yet breathtaking video of geniuses behind the screen, that invest their sweat and blood, and have fun as well, in creating the multi-technology BricsCAD platform.
Un-arguably the most powerful message that Bricsys has sent out to its eco-systems at large, the Ted Rossdale moniker is here to stay, and is poised to represent the new generation, Hexagon-driven V19++ BricsCAD culture as the company breaks out its close-knit mould to takes on the larger frontiers of the design world.
