CADPower V 21.02 Update
Thanks to Andrew Truckle, our local sales partner from Bristol, UK, we have fixed a number of small details, typos and other UX glitches in V 21.02 update of CADPower.
We list here some quick fixes:
- The Draw Toolbar ribbon in CADPower had a typo which was fixed.
- The CP_LAYERMAN command is officially called the ‘Layer Names Manager’. Any inconsistent title of this command has been fixed.
- The ribbons sub-pull-down menus in AutoCAD did not have their captions shown at several places. This is fixed now.
CP_CMDSEARCH: CADPower -> More Options -> Search CADPower/GeoTools commands :
There were some bugs in the search results of some keywords. This has been fixed now. (bug feedback courtesy: Andrew Truckle)
CP_ANNOTPOINTS: CADPower -> Annotation -> Annotate points, based on layer names: The CP_ANNOTPOINTS command is used to annotate points on different layer based on layer-wise text content, style, height and presentation parameters.
We have improved the display of the annotation parameters by including the X and Y offset information in the display grid, and also ensured that the values are now correctly written to the INI file and restored back.
The CP_ANNOTPOINTS dialog
The extension of the parameter file has been changed from TXT to INI, to make it more logical.
Additionally, this command has improved the program communication and messaging in a much better manner so that user is better informed what is happening. (bug feedback courtesy: Andrew Truckle)
GeoTools V 21.02 Update
GT_CCPOLY: GeoTools -> Build -> Create closed polylines from a mass of networked polylines:
The GT_CCPOLY command has been updated. It is now possible to specify the centroid objects using a layer filter. At the ‘select objects’ prompt, there is now an option to press ENTER and select a layer name from the list.
This will ensure that, as per common practice, all objects from a specified layer are taken for processing.
CP_FIXUCS: CADPower-> Polyline Tools -> Others -> Fix lines/polylines with different UCS: The CP_FIXUCS has been fixed
. There were several cases where polylines polylines in a different entity coordinate system (ECS) were not transforming correctly to World coordinate system (WCS). This has been fixed now. (bug feedback courtesy: Andrew Truckle)
